RVR Robot Arm

I’ve seen a few images of RVR with a robot arm attached and I have a few ideas of what I could do with that. Does anyone know what robot arm is being used in the advertisements? or know of any other small arm?

For the most part it shouldn’t matter which robot arm. Generally you can use standard servos and send them a PWM signal.

Do you have a 3D Printer so you can make your own robot arm, or are you looking for a kit?

Ideally, a kit I can buy (as I’d like this in the next week or so) but I do also have a 3d printer and I’m happy to print one.

I like the look of the one in the photo so I was hopeful to know what that is.

It sort of looks like the LewanSoul 6DOF but I’m not 100% sure.

@Kinvert It does look like the 6DOF, although there are a few different versions of it, and its not exactly cheap. I believe the one they are using is about $130 + tax.

Here’s an inexpensive 4DOF arm. https://www.robotshop.com/en/bluetooth-wifi-4-dof-metal-robot-arm-kit-raspberry-pi.html

Most of the arms are larger than you’ want on an RVR. Their center of gravity would tip the RVR. But RoboShop has a large selection.
