For testing the API I needed code that would show the data dynamically, especially once I get sensor streaming working. Here is a video of the first live data changing as the motors are controlled through the Edu app. You can see the voltages and the motor currents changes as I manually drive the RVR. It’s setting on a test stand, not actually running around.
This probably look anachronistic using a console based program to display the data. But I’m almost an anachronism so its appropriate. The tech behind it is NCurses and it’s on Linux. NCurses used to be a way to create programs under DOS and Linux before graphical interfaces like Windows took over.
