Where do I type and run my Sphero Javascript programs?

This is a rookie, rookie question. And kind of embarrassing to ask.

I have my Sphero, fully charged.

I have installed Sphero Edu extension in Chrome on my Windows 10 PC.

I know how to program, including some Javascript.

If I’m programming on a Linux machine, I use vi. If programming for Android, I would use Android Studio.

But I am at a total loss as where to type Javascript code for running on Sphero.

Hi @wombat,

No worries, I have a guess at what’s wrong. Have you made a Sphero Edu account and signed in yet? After you sign into the Sphero Edu extension (or the Sphero Edu app on any of our other supported platforms, see here), you’ll want to go to Programs at the top toolbar and a menu will drop down with a “+ Create” option. Once you click on that, you’ll be able to choose the “Text” program type to start a new Javascript program.

Welcome to the forums!

Hi Jim

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I’m off and running.
